Parker A First Round Catch For Dolphins

The Dolphins continued the reconstruction of their receiving corps in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft, selecting DeVante Parker from the University of Louisville with the 14th overall selection.

Parker, 6-3, 208, got a late start as a senior in 2014 when he missed the first seven games with a foot injury, but he was so impressive in his six games that he still managed to earn second-team All-ACC honors in a vote of league coaches.

Parker caught 43 passes for 855 yards and five touchdowns in 2014, and had a monster game against Florida State when he caught eight passes for 214 yards.
