One possible explanation for Dolphins WR DeVante Parker’s quiet season

DAVIE—This was supposed to be the breakout season for DeVante Parker. His rookie year with the Dolphins was hampered by his recovery from a broken foot, but he finished with 22 catches for 445 yards and three touchdowns over the final six games.

The optimism over what he might do in Year 2 was muffled by a hamstring injury, and apparently he has yet to return to normal. That might explain why he’s only got 23 catches (on 36 targets) for 295 yards and a touchdown. His last game, the win over Buffalo, was a three-catch, 20-yard performance.
