Miami hires former Denver assistant Eric Studesville to oversee running game

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Former Denver Broncos assistant head coach/running backs Eric Studesville is headed to the Miami Dolphins as the team's run game coordinator and running backs coach.

Studesville had been the longest-tenured assistant coach on the Broncos staff before he was one of six assistants fired by Vance Joseph the day after the season finale. Studesville joined Denver in 2010, a stint that included four games as the interim head coach when Josh McDaniels was fired that season.

Studesville and Dolphins coach Adam Gase worked together in Denver for both McDaniels and John Fox.
