Early Sunday morning it was announced that the Steelers and the Raiders had swung a deal for the selfish WR and the Miami Dolphins were smart to stay the hell out of it. The compensation by the Raiders was not bad.
The Steelers received a 3rd and a 5th round draft pick for the receiver which is in reality far below what the market value was. The problem with the deal as far as this entire thing has worked out is that the Raiders gave him another $20 million. He isn’t going to do more and he isn’t going to play longer.
