Miami Dolphins starting CB Byron Jones moved to reserve/PUP list, out at least four games

The Miami Dolphins on Tuesday moved starting cornerback Byron Jones to the reserve/physically unable to perform list, meaning he will miss at least the first four games of the 2022 season.

Jones started training camp on the active/PUP list and hasn't practiced since undergoing surgery on his left Achilles tendon in March.

Jones signed a five-year, $82.5 million contract with the Dolphins as a free agent in 2020 and has started 30 games in two seasons, during which he has two interceptions.

In other roster moves Tuesday, the Dolphins waived wide receivers Lynn Bowden Jr.
