Earlier today the Baltimore Ravens traded quarterback Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos for a 4th round draft pick. Flacco is in the twilight of his career so the compensation seems fair. Ryan Tannehill has never reached the success of Flacco but statistically the two are similar over the last few years that Tannehill has been healthy.
Flacco isn’t a perfect fit for Denver but there is a leadership quality about him. That is something that Tannehill openly lacks. Regardless the trade has sent off-season predictions in another direction. With Flacco now in Denver, the quarterback becomes a bit more intriguing.
