Last night in what turned out to be a great Monday Night Football game, the Seattle Seahawks beat the previously unbeaten 49’ers on a field goal with 00:04 seconds left in overtime to keep the Miami Dolphins the only perfect team.
Somewhere Bob Kuechenberg, Nick Buoniconti, and Jim Langer were smiling as the 49’ers rookie kicker shanked a 42-yard field goal attempt that would have won the game for San Francisco.
It seems that this year, eight wins was enough for the NFL’s perfect teams. Last week the Patriots, who were 8-0 were beaten by the Ravens.
