Miami Dolphins put Xavien Howard on injured reserve add CB

On Monday night the Miami Dolphins lost to the Steelers but it was the loss of Xavien Howard that sent fans into another tailspin Tuesday morning.

Howard made his debut on Monday night after missing two games due to a knee injury. He opened the game with an interception of a Mason Rudolph pass that led to the Dolphins first touchdown of the night.

Howard would disappear in the third quarter and later it was revealed that he had a knee injury. The Dolphins confirmed that news when they placed him on IR. Howard’s knee injury is not considered serious and does not involve an MCL/ACL tear but the Dolphins are going to be careful with his recovery.
