The Miami Dolphins took a ten-point lead into halftime against their division rivals, the New England Patriots, on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep the momentum rolling in the second half — ultimately losing the contest to last year’s Super Bowl runner-ups by a score of 24-19.
A big reason why Miami was able to get an early lead against Drake Maye and company was the play of the Dolphins’ defense. Through the first two quarters of Sunday’s clash, Miami gave up just three points while consistently causing New England’s quarterback discomfort in the pocket.
