Miami Dolphins grant Dowell Loggains permission to seek employment with other teams

When Adam Gase was fired by the Miami Dolphins following the end of this past regular season, plenty of members on his former staff were left still under contract with the team. One by one, that staff has started to disband. It looks as though offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains will be the next to go.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins have granted Loggains “permission to speak with other teams and won’t block him from exiting the organization.”

Loggains joined Miami’s staff prior to the 2018 season as the team’s offensive coordinator, though he did not call plays under Gase, something the latter did on game day.
