What was supposed to be a huge loss by the Dolphins turned into exactly that late in the 2nd half when the Dolphins offense decided they were not contributing to the team’s success in losing.
The Dolphins defense showed up to play today, that isn’t a joke. Miami actually held the Patriots to 13 points in the first half and for most of that half, the Patriots could only put seven points on the board. Heading into the 2nd half Miami’s defense continued to play strong.
Unfortunately, the defense wore down in the South Florida heat as the offense could not mount any extended drives.
