Miami Dolphins fill empty roster spot with familiar Kendall Langford

Kendall Langford is coming back to Miami where it all started in the NFL for him. With a roster spot vacated after Gabe Wright was released after sucker punching Kenyan Drake, the Dolphins were looking for a replacement that could add depth to the defensive front.

In 2008 the Miami Dolphins selected Langford in the third round. It was the first draft under Bill Parcells. Langford spent his first four NFL seasons with the Dolphins but Miami opted to not retain him following his rookie contract.

Langford signed with the St. Louis Rams as a free agent in 2012.
