Miami Dolphins could break NFL record for points allowed today

When the Miami Dolphins gave up 59 points last Sunday, it marked the largest amount of points surrendered in a regular-season game. Only the 1999 playoff loss to the Jaguars, 62-7 was worse.

Today the Dolphins are facing the Patriots and they have the firepower to put up 59 points plus if they want to. They may not want to. Bill Belichick is a lot of things but he has a lot respect for Brian Flores so it would be hard to imagine him running up the score on his protege’.

That being said, the Patriots don’t have to put up 60 points for the Dolphins to break a record.
