The Miami Dolphins have until 4:00 pm tomorrow to get to their final 53. They are getting an early start. Thus far the Dolphins have released five players from their roster with many many more to come. As of now those five are Michael Liedtke, James Davidson, Donald Hawkins, Damarr Aultman, and Anthony Johnson.
The biggest surprise so far or really the only surprise is Anthony Johnson. It’s a mild surprise. Johnson has had an up and down training camp thus far and had fallen behind A.J. Francis on the depth chart. The Dolphins are deep at defensive tackle and will likely cut one or two more from the position.
