Miami Dolphins' 53-man roster projection: New playmakers should help Tua Tagovailoa

MIAMI -- The Miami Dolphins open the 2021 NFL regular season against the New England Patriots on Sept. 12 at Gillette Stadium. The Dolphins went 10-6 in 2020, narrowly missing their first playoff berth since 2016.

After selecting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa No. 5 overall in the 2020 NFL draft, coach Brian Flores and general manager Chris Grier have handed him the keys to this offense this season. There is no quarterback competition, it is Tagovailoa's show. To speed up his development, Grier drafted one of his favorite playmakers from Alabama, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, and added speedster Will Fuller V to the wide receiver room.
