Miami Dolphins' 53-man roster projection gives Tua Tagovailoa plenty of options

The Miami Dolphins opened training camp on Tuesday at Baptist Health Training Facility in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Dolphins finished the 2020 season 10-6, coming in second place in the AFC East and missing out on a playoff bid because of a tiebreaker. Miami has not reached the playoffs since 2016 and it will need to break that trend for 2021 to be considered a successful season. The Dolphins return 17 starters from last season's team, as well as coach Brian Flores, defensive coordinator Josh Boyer and special teams coordinator Danny Crossman. Eyes will be on two promoted coaches -- co-offensive coordinators George Godsey and Eric Studesville -- who are set to run a new offense, with Tua Tagovailoa under center.
