He walked up and fatally shot Yarees Sanders for reasons only the gunman knows, but police have made an arrest and hope to find out.
Sanders, 45, of Oakland Park, was shot several times about 7:20 p.m. April 9 and was taken to Broward Health Medical Center where he died, police said.
At Huff’s first court appearance Friday, public defender Dale Miller said the gunman wore a mask and could not be identified as Huff.
“One witness has known Mr. Huff in the neighborhood for over 25 years,” he said. “They were able to identify him even while he was wearing a mask.
