Through his work with the Jason Taylor Foundation, Taylor will honor Dan Marino, Scott Scherr, and Anthony Borges at a dinner this weekend. On May 17th, Jason Taylor will hold his inaugural Community Hall of Fame induction at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Taylor’s sister and co-host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd will emcee the event. Taylor has been a prominent member of the South Florida community since his foundations beginning in 2004, now after all these years, Taylor is recognizing the contributions of other leaders within the community.
While Dan Marino’s presence in South Florida is well documented both on the field and off through the Dan Marino Foundation, those outside of the Miami area may not be aware of the contributions of the other two honorees.
