Injury update: DeVante Parker considered week-to-week

According to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, Parker suffered an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder and will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis. Tom Pelissero of NFL.com has reported that Parker will not need surgery. After Sunday’s loss the the Green Bay Packers, the former first-round draft pick was seen in the locker room with his left arm in a sling. His availability for Miami’s Nov. 25 contest against the Indianapolis Colts is up in the air, but he’ll have this week’s bye to rest his ailing shoulder.

After failing to stay on the field through his first three seasons in the NFL, DeVante Parker’s health has taken a further downturn in his fourth campaign with the Miami Dolphins.
