The story of last years first round is well documented. Stephen Ross wanted Grier and Tannenbaum to trade down and gain more draft picks. Grier and Tannenbaum did not and wanted to draft Minkah Fitzpatrick. Ross allowed Grier to make the call but he objected.
This year there has been a lot of speculation regarding the Dolphins draft plans.
