At some point all of South Florida needs to raise the bar with the Miami Dolphins franchise.
This franchise has been lost in the land of mediocrity for a decade with one exception (the 2008 season Chad Pennington pulled out his pied piper act) and something must be done to jump-start this franchise.
I'll make the argument Miami was better than an 8-8 team the past two seasons, but something (cough Joe Philbin, cough Ryan Tannehill, cough the deflated defense) held them back each season.
But that was yesterday, last year, and so on.
