Former Miami Dolphin Vontae Davis quits at halftime

The former Miami Dolphins CB Vontae Davis was on the field and started for The Buffalo Bills, but was nowhere to be seen come second half. Head coach Sean McDermott said Davis pulled himself from the game and had said that he was done. Buffalo was losing to the Los Angeles Chargers 28 to 6 at halftime and had lost their season opener to the Baltimore Ravens 47 to 3.

Davis was the first round pick of the Dolphins in 2009 and played for Miami through 2012. He was traded to the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 and played in Indy until this offseason, when he was signed as a free agent by the Buffalo Bills.
