Former Dolphins player Quentin Moses dies in house fire

Former Miami Dolphins defensive end and linebacker Quentin Moses was killed in a house fire in Georgia Sunday morning, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has reported. Andria Godard, 31, and her 10-year-old daughter Jasmine were also killed in the blaze that started around 6am on Sunday.

Moses was found unconscious in the building, but was pronounced dead at Clearview Medical Center. He was 33.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Moses played four seasons with the Dolphins. He was originally drafted into the NFL as a third-round pick of the Oakland Radiers in 2007, but was among the final roster cuts at the end of the preseason.
