Former Dolphins Branden Albert arrested

According to a report by TMZ says that the two-time Pro-Bowler has been arrested in Atlanta on two charges and is currently in jail. Miami tried to trade Albert to the Jaguars for TE Julius Thomas as the start of the league year kicked-off with free agency.

The trade fell through before free agency started but the Dolphins traded him for a 7th round pick giving up a 7th for Thomas. Thomas played poorly for Miami last season but he was at least on the field. Albert stayed away from the Jaguars most of the off-season, showed up for training camp, left within hours, announced he was retiring, then tried to come back and the Jaguars told him no.
