Draft Columinates Productive Offseason For Dolphins

DRAFT COVERAGE PRESENTED BY VIXLETBecause of a series of trades that began more than 18 months ago, the Miami Dolphins made their last selection in the 2015 NFL draft before any other team.

But they still made the most of their picks before they were done after taking Tony Lippett with the 156th overall selection in the fifth round.

The Dolphins ended up making seven draft selections this year, split pretty evenly between offense and defense. In fact, given the fact that Lippett played both wide receiver and cornerback at Michigan State, it almost could be argued they were completely even with three offensive players, three defensive players and one two-way player.
