Dolphins TE Dion Sims ruled out against Jets

DAVIE, Fla. -- The 3-4 Miami Dolphins will continue to be thin at tight end after the bye week. Head coach Adam Gase said Friday that tight end Dion Sims remains in concussion protocol and will not play Sunday against the New York Jets (3-5).

Sims suffered the concussion in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and missed the following game against the Buffalo Bills. Miami is down to its third and fourth tight ends in MarQueis Gray and Dominique Jones. In addition so Sims, starter Jordan Cameron also has a concussion.
