SAN DIEGO - The Miami Dolphins will get back two veteran starters for today's game against the San Diego Chargers.
Defensive tackle Earl Mitchel, who has been sidelined seven games because of a calf injury he's been nursing since training camp, makes his return from injured reserve today.
Expect Mitchell, who has started 16 games for the Dolphins the past three seasons, to serve as the primary backup to Ndamukong Suh and Jordan Phillips against the Chargers.
The Dolphins also get back starting tight end Dion Sims for today's Chargers game.
