MIAMI (CBSMiami) – With the Miami Dolphins’ currently unnamed stadium renovations ongoing, South Florida is back in the Super Bowl picture.
Led by Super Bowl host committee president Mike Zimmer, it’ s abig week coming up in the attempt to get the big game back to town.
The committee is headed to Charlotte, North Carolina. On Tuesday, it will present its case for the NFL’s big game to return to Miami.
“We’ve done a number of bids since we had it in 2010 but we’re excited to bring the Super Bowl back to Miami because we feel this is home,” said Zimmer.
