Dolphins sign defensive end Cedric Reed

The Miami Dolphins announced on Sunday the signing of free agent defensive end Cedric Reed. The Dolphins were under the 90-man roster limit after the release of offensive lineman Jacques McClendon and linebacker Danny Lansanah last week, so there was no coinciding release for the addition of Reed.

Reed entered the league in 2015 as an undrafted free agent, signed by the Buffalo Bills. He spent the season on the Bills’ practice squad. He spent four years at Texas, where he appeared in 46 games, with 32 starts, tallying 180 career tackles, with 37 tackles for loss and 19.
