Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill took another positive step toward his return from a capsule injury in his right shoulder when he threw passes during the portion of practice open to reporters on Tuesday.
Tannehill warmed up with his receivers, slowly increasing the length of his throws from 10 to 20 to 30 yards. While he did show a bit of rust, the vast majority of his throws were on the money.
What reporters did not see: Tannehill gripping and ripping it. He didn’t show off his fastball during the open period.
Tannehill and Brock Osweiler took the majoriy of reps during warmups.
