DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins leading wide receiver Preston Williams suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday against the New York Jets, coach Brian Flores said Monday.
It's a torn ACL for Williams, a league source told ESPN. He will miss much of the offseason as he recovers from the injury, but the goal is from him to return for the 2020 season.
"It's a big loss for us. I talked to him this morning. He's done an incredible job," Flores said. "He came to us as a free agent and has really grown over the last six months, seven months.
