DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins are likely to be without cornerback Xavien Howard Sunday vs. New England Patriots to a knee injury suffered last Sunday.
Coach Adam Gase termed Howard as "week-to-week" with the knee injury.
This is terrible news for the Dolphins, who are holding on to slim playoff hopes largely due to their defensive playmakers like Howard.
"He's one of our best players, if not our best player on that side of the ball," Gase said. "We've got to make some adjustments if we have to on defense.
