Dolphins’ Koa Misi on nightclub incident: I should’ve walked away

Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi, who allegedly struck a nightclub goer in the head last month and was tackled by a police officer, said Tuesday that he hasn’t been disciplined by the team.

Misi was not charged with a crime — the victim refused to press chargers.

But Misi, speaking to reporters for the first time since the incident, said he regretted it.

“As of right now, nothing’s happened,” Misi said of team discipline. “It was a bad situation and it’s something I should’ve walked away from. I learned from my mistake.”

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said earlier this month that he had a discussion with Misi.
