Dolphins getting seemingly healthy coming off the bye week

Cornerback Bobby McCain was removed from the NFL concussion protocol Wednesday and practiced for the Miami Dolphins, all but assuring he will be available to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

McCain, who has started seven games at the boundary cornerback spot opposite Xavien Howard, had suffered a concussion in the Nov. 11 game at Green Bay.

The Dolphins are coming off a bye week and will go into Indianapolis a relatively healthy team, considering the players available to them.

That was obvious by what happened during the open portion of practice Wednesday.

DeVante Parker, who is nursing a shoulder injury, and Kenyan Drake, also nursing a shoulder, both practiced at least on a limited basis while wearing red jerseys.
