Dolphins facing tough financial decision on Tannehill moving forward

Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase has stubbornly hitched his wagon to Ryan Tannehill for this season, vowing to not bench the team's starting quarterback no matter what happens in 2016 following Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Gase clearly has his reasons following a disappointing performance for the franchise's fifth-year starter, who threw two interceptions and was sacked six times while working behind a injury-depleted offensive line.

"We need to give him a chance with protection," Gase said during his Monday press conference, referring to Tannehill, who has been sacked 17 times in five games.
