The Dolphins kicker of the last two seasons Tweeted his good-byes to Miami Dolphins fans a short time ago.

Franks was a surprise roster finalist two seasons ago when he beat out incumbent kicker Dan Carpenter. A graduate of RPI institute, Franks came out of nowhere to win the Dolphins job. He excelled at touchbacks but was inconsistent at times with his field goals.
