Miami's backup quarterback battle -- essentially Osweiler vs. David Fales -- has been close and not promising at all. The last preseason game could decide this spot. Despite a need to upgrade, Adam Gase is adamant that their backup QB is on the roster -- meaning Osweiler or Fales. Osweiler has turned the ball over frequently in practices this summer. Fales has never started a NFL regular-season game. They've been fairly even in the preseason.
