DAVIE—Losing is brutal to endure for a man who smashes up his body for a living, and that’s all the Dolphins have done during Cameron Wake’s spectacular career.
Wake is second only to Jason Taylor on the franchise’s all-time sacks list with 71, and this will likely be his eighth straight season sitting home during the playoffs. Miami has never won more than eight games in his time here, and it’s a constant battle for him to push aside the disappointments.
“It’s frustrating, but the great thing about football is even when you’re struggling, you can’t think about even the last play, let alone five years ago,” Wake said today.
