Dan Campbell Puts Dolphins Players Through Oklahoma Drill

DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins had their first practice under interim head coach Dan Campbell on Wednesday at the team’s practice facility in Davie.

Campbell said in his introductory press conference that he was going to change the culture of the team and make practices more competitive and physically demanding.

If Wednesday was any indication of things to come, it’s clear he’s going to follow through with his plan.

Players arrived on the practice field wearing helmets and shoulder pads, and Campbell immediately put them to work.

One of the first things he did was put the team through the infamous Oklahoma drill, which has players line up for full-contact, full-speed one-on-one drills in a small confined area.
