Broncos match offer for C.J. Anderson, Dolphins still searching for tailback

The Miami Dolphins' search for a starting tailback will continue because the Denver Broncos have matched Miami's offer to tailback C.J. Anderson.

Miami offered Anderson, a restricted free agent, a four-year, $18 million deal last week, and the Broncos matched it on Tuesday afternoon.

"Just got off the phone [with C.J. Anderson) and let him know we're excited to match the offer sheet," John Elways tweeted out Tuesday afternoon. "We have high expectations for CJ and are glad he's back!"

Anderson, a three-year veteran, has rushed for 1,569 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and 13 touchdowns in the last two seasons.
