Speaking with the meida, Brian Flores was asked about University of Miami head coach Manny Diaz’ decision to call plays for the “U”. Flores said that he has no plans to do the same.
Flores said that he has confidence in defensive coordinator Patrick Graham and while he will have input, he has no plans to take over the defense. Not yet anyways, although he did not say that directly.
Miami’s defense, sans the first week of the season, has played well through the last three games. Miami has limited opposing offenses to the mid-teens in terms of points but it is in the late third and fourth that they begin to fall apart.
