Quinn has spent his entire seven-year career with the Rams. Last year the Dolphins made a deal for DE William Hayes. The parameters of the deal are not yet known and it will not take effect until the league new year on March 14th.
The news comes as the Dolphins have been trying to deal WR Jarvis Landry.
Quinn has $22 million over two years left on his current contract that the Dolphins will have to absorb. The question is where will they get the money? Miami is currently around $7 million over the cap with the $16 million franchise tag assigned to Landry.
