Andre Luck injury to kidney, abdomen could lead to 6 missed weeks; Could return for Dolphins game

The Miami Dolphins face the Indianapolis Colts in seven weeks. The Colts may be without their star quarterback until that game.

According to an announcement from the team, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has a partial tear to an abdominal muscle and a laceration to a kidney. The injuries will sideline the fourth-year quarterback, potentially for the next 2-6 weeks. That could mean he would return to face the Miami Dolphins December 27 in South Florida.

That could also be the second starting quarterback who will miss games due to injury only to return to face the Dolphins.
