He was taken into custody peacefully, unlike the night he broke into a Coral Springs home and struggled with a woman before running off empty-handed, police said.
According to the arrest report, Davis knocked at the door of a house in the 8400 block of Northwest 27th Drive in Coral Springs, about 9 a.m. April 27.
The resident answered the door, and Davis forced his way inside. She fought him off and he ended up running east on Northwest 27th Street headed towards Riverside Drive, police said.
The doorbell security camera recorded the suspect on video and Davis was identified within days.
