The first three rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft are in the books, which means the Miami Dolphins have finally made their first pick. It took until the end of the third round, late on the second night of the three-day selection process, before Miami found themselves on the clock for the first time.
The Dolphins traded away all of their own picks for this year, along with several picks they had acquired over the last several years. They did not have a pick until the 102nd overall selection, a pick they received as part of the trade-back scenario with the San Francisco 49ers last year.
