The Miami Dolphins came away from the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft with wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. Waddle with the sixth pick gives Miami a presumed starter in the slot, though he has the speed and athleticism to play outside and go up to fight for receptions. Phillips was largely rated as the best pass rusher in the Draft, though there are injury concerns that pushed him down some boards.
It was a good start to the three-day draft process, but was it the right one? I wanted to see what you as fans thought of Miami’s first round.
