Darr, like Franks is making the league minimum in 2016 but Darr really outplayed his salary in 2015. Darr was extremely consistent on his punts and averaged 47.6 yards on 92 punts. He only had 10 touchbacks in 2015 and placed 30 punts inside the 20 yard line clearly giving the Dolphins defense much needed advantage. His longest kick was 70 yards.
Darr has a bright future in the NFL and he played his first season with little worry. In fact he was flagged for unnecessary roughness on one punt return.
