Dolphins News: Third-round pick Billy Turner has a "chip on his shoulder"

In Dolphins news tonight, third-round draft pick Billy Turner may be the best long-term solution for the team to replace Richie Incognito at left guard.

He may also do it with a bit of fire behind him.

Per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the former North Dakota State tackle has only been working at guard during offseason activities - and is prepared to bring a distinct edge in his game if he's given the opportunity to start -

“I’ve played with a chip on my shoulder since I started playing football in the third grade,” Turner stated. “I was playing with the kids in the fourth and fifth grade, and they thought I was going to come in a be soft and they were going to be able to beat up on me. But I got two older brothers, and that’s where my aggression comes from.”

Turner also may have a lot to prove when it comes to being from an extremely small school. With all the heralded prospects that will surround Turner in the league, he may be able to take his natural "aggression" and his perceived underdog label, using it to his advantage down the road.
