Dolphins News: Dolphins sign free agent WR Damian Williams

Dolphins news is focused on depth within the receiving corps tonight, as the Miami Dolphins have just announced that they have signed free agent wide receiver Damian Williams to a one-year contract.

Per Mike Wilkening of Pro Football Talk, by way of ESPN.com, the former Tennessee Titans wideout has signed a one-year, $800,000 deal, quickly turning a free agent visit into a signing for his new team, the Miami Dolphins.

Williams had spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Titans before signing with the Dolphins tonight, amassing 106 career catches for 1,313 yards and five touchdowns in regular season action for the Titans.

Damian Williams was originally drafted by the Titans out of the University of Southern California in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He joins Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Armon Binns, and Brandon Gibson on the wide receiving depth chart for the Miami Dolphins going into the 2014 NFL season.
