RUSTON, La. – University of Memphis redshirt freshman Natale Zanellato knocked down a season-high 17 kills to lift the Tigers to a 3-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Saturday. Memphis won the match by scores of 25-13, 25-8 and 25-14.
Saturday's match was the Tigers' third and final one of the Lady Techster Invitational. Memphis, Louisiana Tech and Sam Houston State all finished the two-day tournament with 2-1 records. As a result of tiebreaker rules, Sam Houston State won the tournament crown.
The Tigers' record is 4-5. Arkansas-Pine Bluff is 1-9.
